Once upon a time, there was a boy named David and a girl named Briana. They grew up in very different lands. He was raised in farmville Iowa working in the cornfields and delivering newspaper while she lived in sunny California working at ice cream shops and trampoline stores. David had a family full of sisters, while Briana grew up with a bunch of boys. One day Bri's brother decided to go on a mission, four months later David decided the same thing. They were both placed in Colorado. They ended up living next to each other and going on lunch dates and stuff. David liked the pictures of Jeremy's family...so much that he wanted to write his sister. David wrote a very simple letter to Briana (which is no longer in existence because it was thrown away once it was received). Briana saw the letter and was very puzzled, she didn't know this person and at the time, she didn't want to, so she went on her merry way. In the meantime, David waited in anticipation and agony for her reply. When there was no sign of hope, he decided it would be best to move on and write other girls, although none of which were nearly as hot as Briana. David and Briana continued on their separate ways. Nineteen months later, while sitting in church, Bri was very disturbed by the young men that were trying to be her heart-keeper. She had been on many terrible, terrible, awkward, horrific dates and was sick of it. She wondered where all the normal guys were...so she asked her brother. He excitedly told her of a wonderful man named David. She told him to show her his facebook. Instantly. Once she saw that, she knew there was strong potential for some firework action. Within five minutes, David and Briana were texting. The next day, they took the next step...skype. After texting and chatting on skype, within three days she had agreed to travel to Logan, Utah to visit this newfound glory. With the accompaniment of a good friend, she made it to him safely. The trip lasted a wondrous five days. After ice skating in the crisp air, roaming the streets of The Gateway Mall, admiring the beautiful temple lights, and snowboarding the majestic snowcapped peaks at The Canyons, fireworks began as their lips first met on New Years Day. The mega-date seemed to end all too soon. David had to move to Idaho for school while Bri traveled back to California to continue her education as well. The two didn't quite know where this was all going to go...afterall...he was in Idaho and she was in California. He was at BYU in a land full of eager-to-be-housewives, while she was in the no-man land of Sacramento. They continued to pursue each other, but with an uncertain future the long distance became unbearable. David decided it was time to date other girls while Bri continued on with her sketchy dates. Bri was very lonely and missed David terribly, she couldn't stop thinking about him and wanted something to change. Little did she know, David felt the same way. David decided to come to California, an 11 hour journey through the wilderness by himself, all for her. Upon his arrival, Bri was jumping in his arms with joy! The two decided to spend some time on the trampoline under the stars, when Dave told her he loved her. Bri was so happy and shared her love for him too. They decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend for real. Of course the trip ended fast, but they had a blast going mini golfing, and an exceedingly long trip to San Francisco so that Dave could see the ocean for his first time, but when they got there wasn't able to because of the terrible tsunami in Japan that closed down beaches everywhere. An agonizing month and half of only skype dates passed before they were rejoined. David's whole family gathered together in Utah for his sister's wedding. Bri and Dave decided it would be best if she came to meet them all. Little did she know, she would be receiving the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. David took her to the park and played her a sweet melody on his guitar before he popped the question. When he asked her of course she said YES! She was in shock jumping up and down, and hugging him so hard she almost broke his ribs. After the wedding weekend, Bri had to go to home and finish her finals for school. Two days later, David came to her and helped her moved out to Utah so that they could be together. They are scheduled to be married in the Sacramento Temple on July 30th where they will begin their lives together forever.
