Our First Christmas

Well I haven't posted in what seems like ages. So lets review what has been happening in our life.
My friends Chelsea and Courtney were in Logan so we had a sleepover and hung out at the house and made cookies. We went to In-N-Out and I was so happy! I have been having withdrawals for a long time. (Sad? Maybe...but whatever.) We went down to Salt Lake to the mall and walked around the temple and saw the lights and took a tour of the Conference Center with the nicest woman on earth possibly. I wish I knew her name so I could send her a card or something! The next night we went to the hot springs which was fun. There was nobody there since it was a school night, so we had our own pool. :) Then we took Chelsea back to her aunt's house so she could be on her way home to Cali. It was definitely a good time. I love my friends <3

So this is what Dave and I look like if we were both old men.
Good look huh?? hahaha Thank you iphone...creepy!

Isn't David's red curly hair so cute?!

So that was a fun weekend I must say! Also, we did get a washer and dryer! It finally got here a few weeks ago and we had a close call. The guys didn't think they were going to fit in our little laundry closet area thing. But I made them make sure it did. There was no way they were leaving with our washer and dryer! I was even willing to take the doors off, but thankfully we didn't have to do that :)

Dave did a good job and ordered them without me when I was sick in bed after black friday shopping. He's a good surpriser.

Here's a random picture of Dave at walmart, on the phone with his mom, with a dino helmet on.
No big deal. :)

So here's a funny story....

This is David at home on his 15 minute break because....he took a milk shower at work! He is a forklift driver at Gossner Foods which is a milk/cheese factory and he was stacking milk in the racks. He had a load with a couple pallets of milk and he apparently didn't quite line it up right and it all came down on him. He was soaking wet. Shoes. Socks. Pants. Shirt. Everything. The guys at work were laughing at him and were wishing they had some cereal to go with the milk ;) So I made him take this picture with me in his cute little uniform. He's so precious!

Here's a christmas picture. Not the same as the one we sent in the cards. Which by the way, I hand made which I probably won't do again, although it did keep me busy for a while! And also. Our prints sucked! So sorry about that people. Don't listen to Dave if he tells you to print 'matte' instead of 'glossy'. ;)

Here's me making our family's famous peanut brittle. It really hurts your arm.
And my grandma's cookies are on the microwave. Wow. Amazing. Thanks Gma!

My sweater looks kinda funny on my tummy cuz my phone was in my pocket. So don't be getting any crazy ideas--especially you Rodney! ;)

Well, Christmas was great. Unfortunately we forgot to take pictures on Christmas morning, so I am really pretty bummed about it, so I guess we'll try to remember next year. But, we had such a fun time together and also with our family here in town. We skyped a lot of family too, which was awesome! Skype is such a wonderful thing! We are so thankful for all the cards, photos, and gifts! So thank you everyone, it is great to get pictures and hear updates on lives other than our own. We are so blessed and happy and thankful! Lots of Love!
