One Big Anniversary

It's been one year already!

Crazy? A little. But it has been the best year indeed. It is so great to be married to your best friend.
We are truly blessed.

Just recently we have been up to the following:
  •  David's Grandparents returned home from their mission in the Phillipines & the whole family came to be here for them. Us girls did a mud run, and we hit Cherry Hills Water Park too.
  • We bought a townhome!
  • We went to Las Vegas for our 1st Anniversary!

Let's begin. I am a believer in pictures and less writing because it can be pretty boring.
So we will start from the top. :)

Our sweet grandparents and Aunt Jenny, Shauntell, and Teresa after the mud run.

I love this picture, and I swear I didn't mean to have bubble boobs!

Us and Jensen going down the water slides
I don't have too many pictures from Cherry Hills, I wasn't feeling well. And I didn't have my camera out when David's fam was here. Fail. I know. Sorry! But we had lots o' fun.

OUR TOWNHOME! :)
3 bdrm 2 1/2 bath 1 car garage

entry way with slate tile - storage under the stairs, garage on right wall, and bathroom door on left
the dining area near the sliding glass door with cherry wood floors (orange wall and yellow tint walls)

cute little arch looking into kitchen, dining to left, entry hall to right, taken from living room

view from our living/dining and guest and spare bedrooms

guest bathroom upstairs and master bedroom

Ugly green master bathroom and brown walls in the bedroom. Walk in closet! Yay!
These are all "before" pictures of the home and how we moved into it.
We have been doing a lot of painting and work on it for the little bit before we left to Vegas.
David's parents helped us so much with cutting baseboards and painting and ideas. :) Thank you!!!

Here are some afters.
(we are still in the process of setting things up and furnishing and decorating so don't hate) ;)

entry way, we still are working on painting doors and edges around them white

living room (still waiting for the other designed pillows to arrive...) can't wait to put some stuff on the walls!

Still need to screw that little plate back on...ha

guest bathroom - probably going to paint a light gray and hang those flowers and put a frame around mirror

Master bedroom is no longer a dark brown hole. We are doing extra wide baseboards like downstairs that we did and will get a new bedspread that isn't so bland with the room

Don't know what color to paint the bathroom yet, I just know the green has to go...

David's lovely new TV and stand
We are LOVING the new house. We have done so much so far, and still have lots to go. Pictures don't do it justice, but oh well. There you go Grandma, :).

LAS VEGAS! 1 YEAR TRIP
This is a long post already...
Vegas was great, not as dirty as I was expecting, and it was a super fun atmosphere and a great memory for us to have :)

I think I have played catch-up now. So there you go. Stayin' busy :)
