Our Mini Spring Break

This weekend David and I had the opportunity to go to General Conference down in Salt Lake City!
We met up with Jeremy and Becca--a congrats are in order for the newly engaged couple!!!
And also our friends Kyle and Megan who live in Sacramento as well.
It was such a fun and quick weekend!

Here is our sweet hotel room. Dave and I shared with Jeremy and Becca at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Also. 24/7 access to the pool and spa - best thing ever...

Just a little quick shot. Happy, happy! :)
We ended up going to dinner at Chilis because we couldn't agree upon anything. Plus our GPS needs to be updated as far as maps and locations...we tried to go to a non-existant Hard Rock Cafe...ugh.

This is us in front of the City Creek Mall. That place is amazing. They have Cheesecake Factory, Love Culture and a Pandora store. Those 3 things win me over right there. We only walked around a fraction of the mall, but I am amazed. It is so pretty! It has fountains, cool architecture, ponds, and sweet stones. Pretty, pretty.

We went to the Hunger Games in the Gateway mall. It was such a good movie! I want to read the books now, I heard they are better. Well, we got out of our movie at midnight, and on our travels to the car, these two were lingering behind us and were engaged by the time we got there! :) CONGRATS!!

Here are us girls after our swim party! It was so much fun :) I love swimming and spa-ing it up!

These are some of our awesome friends, Kyle and Megan. She's originally from Canada and they gave us some candy and chips from there...the candy is good. I have yet to hit the chips. They were married last year and both served in SLC actually!!

These are the crazy boys...haha best friends obvi.

The group :)

We had Chilis chips and salsa in the morning. Breakfast of champions.

David and I went to Conference this afternoon. These are our tickets. :)
And here we are in front of a waterfall that comes down the whole building.

Inside the conference center! TONS of people. It was sweet. Hardly any open seats either.
It was so cool when the prophet walked in too. The spirit was so strong, and everyone stood up and was silent.
It is definitely different than watching it on TV. I would go again for sure!

Here's a cool picture of the temple, and some more of downtown salt lake.
Such a good weekend. That was our spring break. :)
